CM asks Govt. departments to speed up recruitment CS holds review meet on 27th April 2013 with Secretaries 63,621 vacancies reported by various dept.s so far.
HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister Mr. N Kiran Kumar Reddy
asked various Government departments to consolidate the vacancies and
speed up the exercise at the earliest. Under the directions of the Chief
Minister, the Chief Secretary Smt. Minnie Mathew today held a review
meeting with Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries,
Secretaries of different departments to review the progress for
notification of vacancies of Govt. jobs for the year 2012-13.
Majority of the Different departments
have already reported about 63,621 vacancies while some of the
departments will submit their proposals in a couple of days. The Chief
Secretary directed the departments to complete the exercise and report
the vacancies to the Finance Department. The Finance Department will
consolidate and take approval of the Chief Minister in a single file to expedite the notification by the recruiting agencies.
The Chief Secretary, under the
directions of the Chief Minister, has also reviewed the progress made in
the earlier recruitment drive and it is reported that selection for
most of the posts are at advanced stage.
