Applicant's Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria:
Interested candidates who are willing to apply for Punjab police jobs should have 18 to 28 years of age as on date 1st January 2016.Age relaxation are applicable belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes in the upper age limit to the extent of 5 years over.Ex-Servicemen shall be given relaxation in the upper age limit by 3 years, plus the number of years of service, rendered in the Indian Defence Forces
Educational Qualification:
Candidates who are willing to apply for Punjab Police Jobs should passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/University, and the candidate must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.
Physical Requirements:
- For Male candidats 5’ 7” (5 feet 7 inches)
- For Female candidates 5’ 3” (5 feet 3 inches)
Punjab Police Selection Criteria
Range/Commissionerate Recruitment Boards will conduct the recruitments for male candidates at each Range/Commissionerate headquarters and the Zonal Recruitment Boards will conduct the recruitment for Female candidates at each Zonal Headquarters.
