It must be noted that the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exam for the recruitment of assistant grade (III) posts in Food Corporation of Indian (FCI) in general, accounts, depot and technical cadres was cancelled in February after the question paper of second shift was reportedly leaked, as it was distributed in the first shift itself at several examination centres in the state.

According to government officials, the examination was scheduled to be held in two shifts. The paper of first shift was scheduled from 10 am to 12 pm while that of second shift was scheduled from 2 pm to 4 pm. When the paper of the first shift was about to begin, the invigilators came to know that wrong sets of papers, which are of second shift, have been put in the packets and was distributed at several centres.

In Jaipur, a total of 13 examination centres were set up in which about 4,500 students were to appear.

Similarly, three examination centres were set up in Jodhpur in which about 672 students appeared. As soon as the exam began and papers were distributed, the students informed the invigilators that the paper of science subject has been distributed in place of math. Following this, the exam was cancelled.
