Total no. of Post: 22 (11 Regular & 11 Backlog vacancy)
Name of post: Assistant Court Secretaries
Pay scale: Rs.20000-36300/-
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
1. SSLC examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Board or equivalent. OR Diploma in Commercial Practice /Secretarial Practice in English or any other examination recognized as equivalent examination to them by Universities or Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or Technical Board.
2. Senior Grade Examination in English Shorthand in First Class. OR Proficiency grade examination in English Shorthand;
3. Senior Grade Examination in Typewriting in English conducted by the Department of Public Instruction of the Karnataka Secondary Education Board or equivalent qualification.
4. Must have Knowledge of operation of computers
Age limit: Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of – 40 years SC/ST/OBC/ Cat-1, 38 years in the case of a person belonging to Category-II-A or II-B or III-A or III-B of Other Backward Classes And 35 years for others.
Probation Period : The applicant if appointed shall be initially on probation for a period of two years or for extended period if necessary.
Method of Recruitment: Selection of candidates will be made in accordance with the High Court of Karnataka Service (Conditions of Service and Recruitment) Rules, 1973 and the High Court of Karnataka Service (Direct Recruitment by Selection) Rules, 1984 as amended from time to time.
Application fee: Rs.250/- In form of Crossed IPO (Indian Postal Order) in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore 560001. (SC/ST and Category-I candidates are exempted from payment of fee.)
How to Apply
Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format (as given in Notification). Application should be filled in by the candidates in their own handwriting and shall accompany attested copies obtained from the Gazetted Officers of the following certificates (Details mentions in Notification). Applications complete in all respects shall reach the Registrar General, High Court of Karnataka, High Court Buildings, Bangalore 560 001 on or before 26.07.2013 (5:00 P.M.) Envelope containing Application form with necessary document should be superscribed as “Application for the Post of Assistant Court Secretaries”.
